Red Kite carrying a White Rose, Hertfordshire, UK - Spring 2026

I saw this Kite land in a field on a farm so got the camera ready to capture it when it flew back up. I had no idea until I got home that it had picked up a white rose! Did it think it was food? Or perhaps lining for its nest? I'll never know ....
